financial assistance for MSME

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has urged the Centre to sanction financial assistance for two MSME industrial parks in Madhira constituency under the MSME-CDP scheme.

He met Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi in New Delhi along with Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, and MP Mallu Ravi. During the meeting, the delegation formally submitted the proposal on behalf of the state government.

The proposed parks are planned at Yendapally in Madhira mandal and Remidicherla in Errupalem mandal of Khammam district. Together, the two sites cover 145 acres. Their location along National Highway 65, with links to rail networks and ports, makes them strategically viable for industrial use.

Bhatti explained that the parks aim to promote manufacturing and entrepreneurship. As per estimates, they could generate 5,000 direct jobs and 15,000 indirect jobs. Moreover, the government plans to prioritise employment for youth from Scheduled Caste communities.

To strengthen small and medium industries across Telangana, the state has committed to establishing an MSME park in every Assembly constituency. These parks will feature flatted factory complexes, hostels, kitchens, toilets, and testing labs. In addition, common infrastructure will support product development and market expansion.

The government will also provide targeted support for women-led enterprises. Through the Streenidhi scheme, eligible businesses will receive loan assistance to boost production and expand livelihoods.

So far, Telangana has launched 25 MSME-CDP projects with support from the Centre. These include factory complexes, industrial parks, and common facility centres. Bhatti and his colleagues informed the Union Minister that similar backing is needed to sustain momentum in the MSME sector.

By scaling these initiatives, Telangana aims to build a more inclusive and robust industrial base.
