HYDERABAD: A fire broke out on Tuesday in a residential colony of Nakrekal town in Nalgonda district after an oil lamp placed before a deity ignited nearby materials.
The flames spread rapidly and engulfed two neighbouring houses. Thick smoke filled the area, prompting fire department personnel to rush to the scene and initiate firefighting operations.
Firefighters responded swiftly and managed to remove gas cylinders from the affected house before the fire could reach them, averting a potential disaster.
The fire was fully brought under control, and no casualties were reported.
