HYDERABAD: A major fire broke out near the Liquor Court (Bar and Restaurant) in Zaheerabad town, causing panic among locals.
The incident occurred on Friday evening when strong winds accompanied by thunder and lightning hit the area. A sudden short circuit in a generator located within the restaurant premises triggered the fire, leading to heavy flames.
Upon receiving information, fire department personnel rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze. The generator belonging to the restaurant was completely gutted in the fire.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
