HYDERABAD: Former Chief Minister of Telangana and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has criticised the current Congress government’s performance in the state. On Saturday, at his farmhouse in Erravalli, KCR met with leaders from the erstwhile Nalgonda, Khammam, and Mahabubnagar districts, offering them key directives.
During the meeting, KCR asserted that the BRS, as a movement-based party, understands the aspirations of the people. He suggested that the citizens of Telangana have realised what they have lost under the current administration and now comprehend the sincerity of BRS’s intentions. He remarked that the people have become aware of the importance of resources like water and governance.
KCR accused the Congress government of failing in critical sectors such as irrigation, drinking water supply, and electricity. He expressed optimism that millions would attend the upcoming silver jubilee celebration of the party. Additionally, he announced plans to conduct training sessions in district party offices soon.
The BRS has scheduled its silver jubilee celebration for the 27th of this month in Warangal. Following directives from KCR and Harish Rao, Dubbaka MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy inspected the venue for the event. The party has called for approximately 100 individuals from each village to participate, expressing confidence that the BRS will return to power in the near future.
