HYDERABAD: Former Union Minister of State Arun Subhashchandra Yadav met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to congratulate him on the state’s decision to conduct a comprehensive caste survey. Yadav commended the initiative, stating that it would play a crucial role in empowering Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
Speaking on behalf of the All India OBC community, as well as the Madhya Pradesh OBC and Yadav Samaj, Yadav expressed his appreciation for the Telangana government’s efforts in ensuring social justice. He remarked that several prominent OBC leaders, intellectuals, and social activists across the country were acknowledging Telangana as a role model in OBC empowerment under Revanth Reddy’s leadership.
The Telangana government’s caste survey is expected to provide crucial data to formulate policies aimed at addressing the needs of OBC communities. The initiative has drawn nationwide attention, with various political and social leaders praising the move.
