Hyderabad: Barely days after the Chevella bus accident, another major road mishap occurred in Nalgonda district. A private travel bus rammed a tractor from behind near Buggabavigudem in Vemulapally mandal on the Adanki–Narketpalli highway.
The collision caused the tractor to overturn on the road. Four people travelling in the tractor sustained injuries. Locals and police shifted the injured to Miryalaguda government hospital for treatment.
Nalgonda bus accident causes injuries but major tragedy averted
Police said the private bus was heading from Kavali in Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad when the accident took place. About 45 passengers were travelling in the bus at the time. Officials said a major tragedy was narrowly avoided as no passenger sustained serious injuries. Authorities cleared the vehicles and restored traffic flow soon after the accident.
