Hyderabad: Four new judges were sworn into the Telangana High Court, taking the court’s bench strength to 30.
Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh administered the oath to Justice Gadi Praveen Kumar, Justice Ramakrishna Reddy, Justice S. Chalapathi Rao, and Justice Ghouse Meera Mohiuddin at the High Court premises.
These appointments are part of a broader round of judicial postings recently cleared by President Droupadi Murmu, following recommendations by the Supreme Court Collegium. A total of 19 judges and additional judges were appointed across several High Courts in the country.
The Telangana High Court received four new appointments, all in the capacity of additional judges. The fresh appointments are part of a broader round of inductions across the country. Madhya Pradesh High Court received seven new judges along with four additional judges, while the Gauhati High Court welcomed four additional judges.
