Bolero crash

Hyderabad: Four people were killed and one severely injured after a Bolero crashed into a parked lorry on the Outer Ring Road near Adibatla in the early hours of Friday.

The collision occurred around 3 a.m. on July 18 while the vehicle was heading from Pedda Amberpet towards Bangalore. According to police, the Bolero slammed into the stationary lorry at high speed, crumpling the vehicle and trapping the passengers inside.

Police recovered the bodies from the wreckage and shifted them to Ibrahimpatnam for postmortem. The lone survivor, critically injured, was rushed to Neeladri Hospital in BN Reddy Nagar.

All five occupants were returning from Yadagirigutta when the accident occurred. Preliminary investigation suggests the driver may have dozed off before rear-ending the lorry.

The deceased were identified as employees of Green Valley Resort in Moinabad. The driver, Maloth Chandulal (29), hailed from Masampalli Tanda, Pakala Kothaguda, Warangal district. The others were Gaguloth Janardhan (50) of Dasrutanda, Warangal, and Kavali Balaraju (40) of Enkapalli, Moinabad.
