HYDERABAD, February 6: A four-year-old child was severely injured after being accidentally run over by a school bus in Hayathnagar, Hyderabad, on Tuesday. The incident occurred when the child, identified as a student of a local school, fell under the bus while it was in motion.
The driver of the school bus, allegedly negligent, failed to notice the child near the vehicle. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the child’s condition remains critical.
The child’s parents have raised concerns regarding the safety measures in place, demanding stricter actions against the bus driver and school authorities. Local police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
Authorities are expected to take appropriate legal actions once the investigation concludes. Meanwhile, the school has promised to improve safety protocols.
