Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday described Future City as a complete package for tomorrow’s world, with advanced infrastructure and strong potential to shape India’s future.
He was speaking at the foundation ceremony of the Bharat Future City Development Authority (FCDA) building and Greenfield Radial Road-1, held at Mirkhanpet in Rangareddy district. He highlighted the city’s integrated sectors – IT, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and an international stadium—as symbols of modern India.
Bhatti said the city’s elevated corridors, high-end roads, and central metro network made it unique in the country. According to him, “no other Indian city offers such an integrated system.”
He revealed that he had met the Union Minister in Delhi and secured approval to connect Future City to Hyderabad International Airport by road. Additionally, he said a greenfield road would link it to Amaravati and Bandar Port in Andhra Pradesh.
The Deputy CM expressed pride in the project’s progress, stating that photographs of the highway link between Future City and Bengaluru reflected the region’s transformation. Moreover, he described Hyderabad not as an “Old City” but as the “Original City,” citing sustained development efforts.
Future City aims to lead with AI and global infrastructure
According to Bhatti Vikramarka, Artificial Intelligence technology is playing a central role in Future City’s development. He said the city would serve not only India but the entire world. He also predicted the arrival of premier medical and educational institutions in nearby regions.
He noted that while people often migrate for jobs, they will eventually consider Future City a secure and lasting home. “When asked where to live in peace and security, people will point to Future City,” he said.
Bhatti urged the community to support the government’s vision. He expressed hope for the project’s speedy completion under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. “This city will be remembered as a crown jewel, not just for India but for the world,” he concluded.
