Gas leak fire Adilabad: Blaze erupts in Pippaldhari village home, three victims in critical condition
Hyderabad: Six members of a family suffered serious injuries after a gas leak triggered a fire at a residence in Pippaldhari village of Adilabad district’s Both constituency.
The incident occurred when a cooking gas cylinder reportedly leaked, igniting flames that engulfed the house. According to locals, the fire broke out in the home of Todasam Sonerao. All six residents present were caught in the blaze and sustained severe burns.
Former sarpanch Bandari Sridhar Reddy, along with local residents, rushed the injured to the government hospital in Both. After initial treatment, doctors referred all six to RIMS Hospital in Adilabad in 108 ambulances for advanced care. Hospital sources said the condition of three victims was critical.
Sub-inspector Sri Sai reached the Both hospital upon learning of the incident and collected details from the victims and villagers regarding how the fire broke out.
