Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan conducted a field inspection of sanitation works in the Serilingampally zone on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Additional Commissioner for Sanitation Raghu Prasad and Zonal Commissioner Borkade Hemant Sahadev Rao.
The inspection covered areas including Yousufguda, Erragadda, and Borabanda. The commissioner reviewed key civic operations such as garbage removal, sweeping, and solid waste management.
During the visit, Karnan interacted directly with local residents to understand ground-level problems affecting sanitation. He directed civic officials and sanitation staff to take immediate action to ensure cleanliness in the inspected areas.
He emphasised that proactive measures must be taken to maintain hygiene and improve overall waste management across the zone.
