Hyderabad: Police in Godavarikhani solved a 10-month-old attempted murder case by arresting three men involved in a violent attack on an outsourcing staffer near the Kodandarama Temple.
The victim, Yashwant, a physician assistant with RFCL, suffered injuries after a group attacked him with sharp weapons. His wife, Prathima, reported the incident to the Godavarikhani One Town police.
Inspector Indrasena Reddy took up the case and launched a multi-angle investigation. Police questioned relatives and reviewed CCTV footage from Yashwant’s home. One of the attackers appeared clearly in the footage.
Police detained the main accused, Kannam Chhatrapathi, at his residence. Based on his confession, they arrested two others Nallagula Prasad alias Sunny and Anaveni Sai Teja. Another suspect, Kannam Sandhya, is still on the run.
Inspector Reddy commended Crime Head Constable Ramesh and the team Sadanandam, Srinivas, Ramesh, Madhukar, and another Srinivas for their swift response and coordination during the arrests.
