Hyderabad: A total of 11,638 engineering seats remained vacant across Telangana after the final phase of TG EAPCET-25 counselling, with government colleges reporting the highest shortfall. Authorities released the final seat allotment results on Sunday on the official website tgeapcet.nic.in. Certificate verification for the phase ended on February 6, followed by web option entry on February 6 and 7.
Officials allotted seats based on the preferences registered by candidates. They instructed selected students to pay the fee by February 12 and report to their respective colleges on February 13. The TG EAPCET convener warned that candidates who miss these steps will lose their allotment.
Government colleges lead in vacancies
Out of 97,369 candidates who completed certificate verification, 40,837 submitted web options. Of the 91,649 seats available, students filled 80,011, leaving 11,638 vacant. Only 51 colleges achieved full admissions, including five universities and 46 private institutions.
