Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday issued a stay on the single judge verdict that had directed reevaluation or re-examination of the Group-1 mains answer papers. The division bench took up appeals challenging the earlier order and postponed the next hearing to October 15.
The appeals argued that the single judge failed to consider TSPSC’s explanation regarding uniform scoring by 719 candidates. The petition also contested claims about 14.8% of top-500 scorers being from Koti Women’s College, stating there was no substantiating evidence.
Group-1 mains reevaluation case adjourned to October 15
The petitioners, including Paramesh Matta from Nandanam village in Bhongir mandal and 221 other candidates, have been named as respondents. The division bench has admitted the matter and deferred proceedings to allow for further examination.
