HYDERABAD: Alleging serious irregularities in the recently announced Group 1 results, a large number of aspirants staged a protest at Osmania University on Friday.
The demonstrators held a rally from the university library to the Arts College, demanding that the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) immediately cancel the declared results.
The protesting candidates expressed outrage over the selection process, claiming that more than 100 candidates had been selected from just three examination centres, raising suspicions of favouritism and manipulation.
Adding to their grievances, the aspirants voiced concern that Telugu was being sidelined in the recruitment process. “Is the state trying to ban Telugu?” one protester asked, reflecting the sentiment among many candidates who felt their regional language was being marginalised.
The protestors called for a thorough investigation and complete transparency in the selection process, warning that they would intensify their agitation if their demands were not addressed.
