Hyderabad: A 17-year-old Intermediate student of BC Welfare Gurukul Residential College died of a heart attack while running on the school ground in Karunapuram village, Dharmasagar mandal, Hanumakonda district.
Battini Maniteja, a second-year student, collapsed suddenly during a morning run. Believing he had fainted, staff tied a thread around his wrist and attempted to revive him by rubbing his limbs.
When he failed to respond, he was rushed to Warangal MGM Hospital, where he was declared dead shortly after treatment.
