Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha conducted a field visit across Choutakur and Jogipet mandals in the Andole constituency on Thursday, inspecting a range of infrastructure and public service projects.
At Choutakur mandal centre, the minister joined local leaders at a hotel and conducted a surprise inspection of the kitchen. He reviewed food preparation practices and instructed hotel management to comply strictly with food safety norms.
The minister later inspected sites earmarked for new buildings, including a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), a primary health centre, and a police station. At Sultanpur’s JNTU campus, he reviewed the compound wall construction and examined 100 bicycles distributed to students with his support. He briefly rode one of the cycles, expressing satisfaction with the initiative.
Rajanarasimha said construction was underway for a modern auditorium, a 200-foot tower, and advanced science labs on the JNTU campus. He also visited the upcoming nursing college at Jogipet and directed officials to expedite construction work without delay.
RDO Pandu, revenue officials, and engineering staff accompanied the minister during the visit.
