Hyderabad: A state-level health staff conference is being held in Hyderabad today to address unresolved demands affecting medical and health employees across Telangana. The event is organised by the Telangana United Medical and Health Employees Union (TUGMHEU).
Union general secretary Yada Nayak announced the event through a press release on Wednesday. The conference is taking place at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Bagh Lingampally and includes participation from regular, contract, and outsourcing staff.
Health staff conference pushes for PRC dues, CPS repeal, and timely salaries
Union leaders accused the state government of continued inaction on key issues. They noted that two Pay Revision Commissions (PRCs) and five Dearness Allowances (DAs) are still pending. Salaries for contract and outsourcing workers are reportedly irregular.
TUGMHEU also condemned the lack of response on repealing the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and addressing GO 317. Employees were urged to attend the health staff conference in large numbers to press for overdue reforms.
