HYDERABAD: The High Court has provided significant relief to Union Minister Bandi Sanjay by dismissing the case filed against him. During the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) election campaign, allegations were made that Bandi Sanjay delivered speeches inciting religious hatred. Following these allegations, the Secunderabad Market Police registered a case and filed a charge sheet against him. However, in the recent hearing, Bandi Sanjay’s legal counsel argued that there was no substantial evidence to support the claims of inciting religious hatred. After reviewing the arguments, the High Court concluded that the case lacked sufficient evidence and subsequently dismissed it.
