Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police warn commuters to avoid ORR Exit 17 after heavy water flow from Himayathsagar Lake flooded parts of the service road. Officials said recent rains caused large inflows into the lake, leading to the overflow.
Traffic teams are at the location, guiding vehicles to alternate routes. Police said the waterlogging creates danger for two-wheeler riders and heavy vehicles due to skidding risk and poor visibility of road edges.
“Commuters should avoid the service roads at Exit 17 and follow the diversions arranged by our personnel to ensure safety and smooth movement,” the Cyberabad Traffic Police said in their advisory.
