Hyderabad: A head-on collision between two two-wheelers in Husnabad left one man dead and two people seriously injured. The crash occurred on the Depot Road route when two bikes came from opposite directions and collided.
Police and locals said Budida Padma, 48, from Madada village, was traveling with her son Budida Ajay on an Activa (TS 36 D 5733) toward a milk collection center. From the opposite side, Nammilikonda Ramakrishna of Arepalli arrived on a Splendor (AP 15 K 9408). The bikes reportedly crashed with force, leaving both vehicles mangled.
Husnabad bike accident: One dead, two critically injured
Ajay suffered heavy bleeding from the head, while Padma sustained severe head injuries, with serious trauma to her eye. Ramakrishna also suffered head injuries. Locals called an ambulance, and all three were rushed to the Husnabad Government Hospital.
Doctors said Ajay died a short while later during treatment. Padma was shifted to Karimnagar Civil Hospital for advanced care, and Ramakrishna was referred to Siddipet Government Hospital.
Family in grief; police probe underway
Ajay had married two years ago and leaves behind a six-month-old baby. The family, already coping with Padma’s severe injuries, has plunged into mourning. Police said they are investigating the exact sequence of events, including speed and possible negligence.
