Hyderabad: At least three incoming flights were diverted from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday due to adverse weather conditions in the region.
Aircraft operating on the Mumbai–Hyderabad, Vizag–Hyderabad, and Jaipur–Hyderabad sectors were rerouted to Bengaluru as a precautionary measure, airport officials confirmed.
The diversions were carried out after weather conditions in Hyderabad were deemed unsuitable for safe landing.
Authorities said the affected flights would return to Hyderabad once weather conditions improved. Passengers were being provided necessary support and assistance during the delay, officials added.
