HYDERABAD: A high-speed car lost control and crashed into a metro pillar in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally Housing Board Colony (KPHB), severely injuring five people. The accident occurred late last night.
Eyewitnesses reported that the car was being driven at an extremely high speed, causing the driver to lose control. As a result, the vehicle first collided with a metro pillar and then hit another car. The impact left the vehicle heavily damaged, and all five occupants sustained serious injuries. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving the accident report, the police arrived at the scene, cleared the damaged vehicle, and restored traffic flow on the affected route. Locals alleged that the injured individuals were intoxicated at the time of the accident.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
