HYDERABAD: Panic gripped Hyderabad’s Chaitanyapuri area on Sunday morning after a 24-year-old youth was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight while riding a scooter.
According to police, the victim, identified as Manoj, was on his way to attend to some personal work when an unidentified assailant, lying in wait, suddenly attacked him with a knife. The assault was so violent that Manoj died on the spot.
Local residents immediately alerted the police, and a team from Chaitanyapuri Police Station rushed to the scene, collecting forensic evidence and securing the area. Manoj’s body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation, exploring multiple angles including personal enmity, past disputes, and possible criminal links to establish the motive behind the attack.
The incident has sparked fear among residents, who are demanding swift justice and the immediate arrest of the culprit to restore law and order in the locality.
