Hyderabad: A police constable collapsed and died of a heart attack during a raid on a house suspected of selling ganja in Hyderabad’s Balanagar area on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Praveen, a member of the Special Vigilance and Enforcement Team (SVET). According to officials, he was inspecting the premises when he suddenly collapsed.
Fellow personnel tried to shift him to hospital immediately, but he was declared dead before arrival.
Senior police officials expressed condolences following the incident.
