Hyderabad: A man died and two others sustained critical injuries after receiving a severe electric shock during a wedding setup in Lothukunta, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. This marks yet another incident in a growing series of electricity-related accidents that have shaken city residents.
The mishap occurred when workers were erecting a wedding pandal in front of a house. During the process, a metal ladder reportedly came into contact with overhead live power lines. The sudden shock caused all three individuals to collapse on the spot.
One person died instantly, while the other two were rushed to the hospital and are battling for life.
Public alarmed over string of power accidents
This latest incident adds to a string of recent electrical mishaps in Hyderabad, raising serious concerns about public safety. Residents have begun expressing fear over power-related risks, particularly during outdoor events and monsoon conditions.
