Hyderabad to become global FinTech hub with Deutsche Börse GCC: Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad: Telangana is positioning Hyderabad as a global command centre for financial technology, according to IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu. He made the statement on Tuesday while inaugurating Deutsche Börse Group’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) at Raidurg.

The Minister said Deutsche Börse’s choice to invest in Hyderabad highlights the state’s policy stability, business-friendly governance, and skilled talent pool. The new GCC will support financial systems managing assets worth over USD 24 trillion.

Hyderabad’s growing global finance profile

Sridhar Babu noted that Hyderabad already hosts seven of the world’s top ten asset management firms. He said Deutsche Börse’s arrival further strengthens the city’s role in the international financial services landscape.

He added that the state government plans to transform Hyderabad from a tech hub into a “Global Innovation Powerhouse.” As part of this effort, a Global Innovation Hub will be launched to drive deep-tech research and breakthrough innovation.
