Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Authority (HYDRAA) issued a heavy rain alert on Friday afternoon for areas under GHMC and up to the Outer Ring Road.
The advisory, marked with “ALERT” severity and “Most Likely” certainty, will remain in effect from 2:55 PM until 11:00 PM on July 18.
Residents are advised to check for traffic congestion before travelling and to follow safety protocols outlined by the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA).
“Heavy Rain is Most Likely to occur across HYDRAA AREA (GHMC+ UPTO ORR). Check for traffic congestion on your route before leaving for your destination,” said the alert issued by the Commissioner, HYDRAA.
The public is urged to stay updated via official channels and to avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas during the warning period.
