Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has ruled that 57.09 acres of prime land in Survey No. 50 of Kondapur, located in Serilingampally mandal of Ranga Reddy district, belongs to the government. The judgment dealt a major blow to private parties who attempted to claim ownership of the multi-crore property.
Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka delivered the verdict, overturning an earlier civil court order that had directed mutation of the land, allowing private individuals to claim three acres each.
The High Court also dismissed implead petitions filed by the family of Kasani Gnaneshwar and two private entities. The petitioners had claimed to have entered into an agreement to purchase 38 acres of the land in question.
The ruling reaffirms the government’s title over the highly valued parcel and nullifies all prior claims and agreements made by private parties.
