Hyderabad: Top police and civic officials on Wednesday visited the famous Balapur Ganesh pandal ahead of the Ganesh immersion procession in Hyderabad. GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan, Hyderabad Police Commissioner C V Anand, Rachakonda CP Sudheer Babu, Additional CP Vikram Singh Mann, HYDRAA Commissioner A V Ranganath, Hyderabad Traffic Joint CP Joel David, Hyderabad District Collector Harichandan and Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy were among those present.
Officials review Balapur Ganesh immersion route
The Balapur Ganesh Utsav Samithi, led by chairman Niranjan Reddy and committee members, welcomed the officials. After offering prayers to Lord Vighneshwara, the dignitaries conducted a field inspection of the immersion procession route from Balapur.
Police Commissioner C V Anand, along with GHMC Commissioner Karnan and other senior officers, reviewed security and traffic management measures to ensure smooth conduct of the Ganesh Shobha Yatra.
