Hyderabad: Telangana Government advisor Mohammad Ali Shabbir on Monday expressed deep grief over the Hyderabad pilgrims tragedy after a Saudi bus accident on the Mecca–Medina highway. He said the reports shocked him and prayed for the departed while wishing strength to the families enduring the loss.

Shabbir Ali said the government began close monitoring soon after the accident. Moreover, he explained that Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi created a special control room to collect verified information about pilgrims from Telangana. Officials also stayed in constant contact with the Indian Embassy in Riyadh to ensure families received accurate updates.

Chakravarthy at +91 99583 22143 or Liaison Officer Rakshit Naik at +91 96437 23157. These channels, he said, would guide families through the process and provide timely information.
Shabbir Ali stated that the Telangana Government would extend every possible form of help. He stressed that immediate support remained the top priority because families needed clear guidance and quick assistance.
