Hyderabad: Three suspects involved in a bike theft gang were arrested by the Pet Basheerabad police on Wednesday, following a complaint lodged over a stolen motorcycle in Subhash Nagar.
Officers used surveillance footage and digital tracking tools to identify and apprehend the accused—Mohammed Ghouse, Naveed Abdul, and Vijay Durgam. Six stolen two-wheelers were recovered from their possession.
The investigation began after a resident, Rakesh, filed a case of his bike missing on July 26.
Police also issued notices to three others suspected of purchasing the stolen vehicles from the accused and reselling them. Officials confirmed that the arrested trio had already been named in multiple cases related to bike thefts in the area.
