Hyderabad: Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh once again landed in controversy over his remarks during a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh. The Shalibanda police in Hyderabad registered a case against him following a complaint from local residents who objected to his speech.
Police said the action followed a complaint filed by youths from the Fathe Darwaza area, who alleged that the MLA’s comments had hurt their religious sentiments. They viewed a viral video of his speech circulating on social media and lodged the complaint accordingly.

According to investigators, Raja Singh attended a programme in Madhya Pradesh a few days ago. During his address, he made remarks targeting a particular community, triggering sharp criticism. The video spread widely online, drawing outrage and prompting the police to act.
Officials said they have begun an inquiry into the case. They are examining the video clip and gathering evidence related to the MLA’s statements. Police confirmed that the case was booked at Shalibanda police station and that further legal proceedings will follow.
