Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police reviewed security and traffic arrangements for Ganesh idol immersion, with Commissioner C.V. Anand IPS directing officials to ensure the festival passes smoothly and safely.
The review meeting took place on Friday at Purani Haveli with South Zone police officers. Anand discussed lapses from earlier immersions and listed steps needed this year. He also called for extra vigilance since Milad un Nabi will coincide with Ganesh immersion.

Anand instructed officers to create an action plan for quick and orderly movement of Ganesh idols to immersion points. He told them to watch law and order closely during the process and gave clear instructions to field staff.
South Zone DCP Sneha Mehra IPS, DCP S.B. Apoorva Rao IPS, DCP Traffic R. Venkateshwarlu IPS, Task Force officers, and inspectors from all South Zone stations joined the meeting.
