To avoid disputes, the Commissioner said officials should give priority to idols arriving from mixed-community areas. He also ordered close surveillance of rowdy sheeters and individuals known to create disturbances. In addition, police teams will escort idol vehicles coming from Cyberabad and Rachakonda. He instructed organisers to stay at pandals overnight and cooperate with law enforcement.
Furthermore, Anand reviewed past lapses in immersion management and discussed a detailed action plan for faster immersion and better crowd control. Later, he visited key pandals in the North Zone, interacted with organisers, and checked the safety arrangements. Since heavy rains continue across Hyderabad, he urged organisers to take extra precautions to prevent accidents. He also appealed to devotees to support police efforts to ensure peaceful celebrations.
The meeting was attended by DCP North Zone S. Rashmi Perumal, DCP SB K. Apoorva Rao, DCP Traffic B.K. Rahul Hegde, DCP Task Force Y.V.S. Sudheendra, additional DCPs, and officers from all North Zone police stations.
