Hyderabad: BJP’s Telangana unit will hold a Tiranga Vijay Yatra in Hyderabad on Saturday, May 17, as part of a nationwide campaign following the successful Operation Sindoor. The rally is expected to draw participation from Union Minister Kishan Reddy, BJP MPs, MLAs, and other public representatives.
In view of the event, Hyderabad traffic police have announced key restrictions for commuters. Traffic diversions will be in place between 5.30 PM and 7.30 PM on Saturday in several parts of the city.
The affected areas include Ambedkar Statue, Secretariat Junction, Sailing Club, DBR Mills, and Tank Bund. Vehicles will be diverted in these zones during the two-hour window.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Joel Davis, urged commuters to take note of the restrictions and plan alternative routes accordingly.
The BJP’s Tiranga rally is being held across the country as a mark of national pride and response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, following the success of Operation Sindoor.
