Hyderabad: HYDRAA Commissioner assures no salary cuts, confirming that all employees will keep their current pay. Commissioner A.V. Ranganath said the government is also looking at ways to raise wages for staff who work round the clock, even during natural calamities.
After the recent GO on outsourcing staff regularisation, some Marshals expressed concerns. Ranganath met them on Monday, cleared doubts, and confirmed that salaries will remain unchanged.
He dismissed media claims of protests stopping operations, stating that HYDRAA services are running without interruption. He praised HYDRAA personnel, especially ex-servicemen serving as Marshals, for their discipline and the trust they earn from the public.
Ranganath added that if other states pay more for similar work, HYDRAA will study those models and consider adopting them.
