Hyderabad, February 13: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has removed 42 unauthorised advertising unipoles on Thursday across the city as part of an enforcement drive against illegal outdoor advertisements.
Several major advertising agencies, including Prakash Arts Pvt Ltd, Lead Space, and UNI Ads, have come under scrutiny, along with smaller firms such as PVS Ads, IKAR Ads, Ispace Advertisement, Surbahi Advertisement, UK Ads, B&M Ads, Sainath Ads, Foresite, and I Catch.
HYDRAA officials stated that these unipoles were erected without necessary permissions, violating urban planning regulations. The crackdown is part of a larger initiative to regulate outdoor advertising and ensure compliance with safety norms.
Authorities have warned that further action will be taken against agencies failing to adhere to advertising guidelines. The removal drive is expected to continue in the coming days as officials intensify monitoring efforts.
