Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) launched a toll-free number to make civic grievance redressal more accessible.
On Tuesday, HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath said citizens can now lodge complaints on lake encroachments, nala obstructions, park land grabs, and disaster management issues through the helpline 1070.

Earlier, officials accepted complaints only through Prajavani and eX platforms. The new helpline expands public access.
Ranganath added that citizens can report encroachments on government or public utility lands within the Outer Ring Road. They may send details with photos or videos to the WhatsApp number 8712406899. For flood or disaster issues, they may call or message 8712406901 or 9000113667. These numbers remain active.
