Hyderabad: Election officials launched the “I Vote For Sure” stickers campaign to boost voter awareness before the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election on November 11. The activity forms part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.
Stickers placed across key public locations
Officials distributed and displayed stickers bearing the slogan “I Vote For Sure” and the polling date at GHMC Circle and Ward Offices, sports complexes, fair price shops, and ICDS centres. The stickers aim to remind voters of their civic responsibility and motivate them to cast their votes.
The campaign also focuses on improving visibility in public spaces so that more citizens participate in the democratic process.
R.V. Karnan leads awareness programmes
District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan is leading several outreach drives under the campaign. Teams are conducting awareness rallies, contests, and cultural events to encourage citizens to vote.
He said the SVEEP programme seeks to make the electoral process more inclusive and transparent. It also aims to ensure that every eligible voter in Jubilee Hills participates in the bypoll with enthusiasm.
