Hyderabad: The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad, has secured the first prize at the International Agriculture, Horticulture and Organic Expo 2025 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from June 21 to 23.
Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport and Highways, Harsh Malhotra, presented the award, recognising ICAR-NAARM’s sustained excellence in training, learning, and capacity building in the agriculture sector.
The NAARM exhibition stall drew significant interest from visitors keen to learn about the institution’s initiatives and programmes. The stall was managed by Principal Scientists Dr R. Venkattakumar and Dr S Siva Kumar under the supervision of Acting Director Dr Gopal Lal, with support from CTOs Dr Laxman Ahire and Shekhar Reddy.
The academy showcased its work in capacity building, academic programmes, policy advocacy, research, and agribusiness incubation. Over 100 Central and State government institutions participated in the expo to highlight their contributions to agricultural development.
