Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted rainfall across Telangana for the next three days due to the influence of a monsoon trough.
Officials said heavy rain is likely on Thursday in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, and Bhupalpally districts. On Friday, light to moderate showers accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected in the combined districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, along with Nizamabad, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Sangareddy.
The IMD further warned that gusty winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph may hit these areas. A yellow alert was issued for all these districts.
