Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert across Telangana, warning of heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds on Sunday and Monday in multiple districts.
Several parts of the state recorded significant downpours from Friday through Saturday morning. Bhadrachalam’s Palwancha in Bhadradri Kothagudem district recorded 10 cm of rainfall, while Kotagiri and Yellendu in Nizamabad district saw 7 and 6 cm, respectively. Rainfall was recorded in 520 locations across the state.
