Hyderabad: A government school teacher from Indervelli mandal, Adilabad district, has received an invitation to the Independence Day ‘At Home’ reception hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Thodasam Kailash, 50, teaches at the government school in Gourapur village. He was formally invited on Monday to attend the August 15 ceremony in New Delhi.
Kailash drew national attention last year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised his innovative use of artificial intelligence to sing in Kolami, Gondi, Hindi, and English.
He also authored a Gondi-language version of the Mahabharat, earning acclaim for his contributions to tribal education and cultural preservation.
Kailash expressed happiness over the recognition, calling it a proud moment to represent his community at the highest constitutional office on Independence Day.
