Hyderabad: Indiramma housing works formally took off in Warangal West constituency on Saturday, with local MLA Naini Rajender Reddy laying the foundation stone for the new houses at Bapuji Nagar and Bodagutta under the 47th division.
Speaking on the occasion, Naini described the Indiramma houses as more than just shelters, calling them symbols of dignity for the poor. “A permanent house transforms the life of every struggling family. This is the day many have been waiting for with hope in their hearts,” he said, adding that the Congress government has revived the dream of ‘Indiramma Rajyam’ a welfare state for the underprivileged.
Assuring transparency in the allotment process, the MLA said that no deserving beneficiary would be left out. “Every application will be scrutinised thoroughly. We are deploying a dedicated administrative team to ensure that only the truly eligible receive these homes,” he emphasised.
Naini also made it clear that quality would not be compromised during construction, and eligible beneficiaries would be given top priority in the allotment process.
The programme saw a large turnout, with corporators Jakkula Ravinder Yadav, Syed Vijaya Sree Rajali, former corporator Rambabu, division presidents Sheikh Azgar and several local Congress leaders like Mys Cyril Lawrence, Ippa Srikanth, Dongala Kumar Yadav, Tammadi Manasa Madhu, Chiluveru Vijaya Bhaskar, Garige Shiva, Duvva Rajulu, Komuravelli Ramesh, Tirupati Srinivas, Pogula Srinivas, Matangi Swamy, and Darla Rajkumar participating along with party cadres, women’s group representatives, public representatives and beneficiaries.
