Hyderabad: The Board of Intermediate extended the Intermediate admissions deadline for first-year students until August 31. Fresh orders were issued on Tuesday, giving Class 10 graduates more time to secure seats in junior colleges.
Officials advised students and parents to enroll only in institutions affiliated with the board. They stressed that recognized colleges alone have the authority to admit students. The list of affiliated colleges has been made available on the board’s official website, Secretary Krishna Aditya said.
The decision came as a relief for students and families struggling to complete the process before the earlier cutoff. With the extension, thousands of new entrants now have additional days to finalize admissions without last-minute hurdles.
