MANCHERIAL: In a tragic incident, an intermediate student from Mancherial district died by suicide due to fear of failing her upcoming exams. The incident took place in Shetpalli village, Jaipur Mandal.
The deceased, identified as Hasini (18), was previously studying at Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya in Chennur. She was reportedly not interested in studies and had returned home. However, her father, determined to continue her education, forced her to enroll in a private college in Mancherial.
As the intermediate exams approached, Hasini grew increasingly anxious about failing. Overcome with fear, she hanged herself at home, ending her life.
The tragic incident has left the family in deep shock. Authorities have urged students facing academic pressure to seek help and counseling instead of taking extreme steps.
