Hyderabad: Nikhil Madan, a 37-year-old assistant professor at the Indian School of Business (ISB), died by suicide on Tuesday night after jumping from the 17th floor of his residence in Gachibowli.
According to police, the incident took place while his wife, Prerana, was watching television.
Madan had reportedly been undergoing treatment for depression. The couple had been married for nine months.
Police said preliminary findings suggest that mental health issues may have played a role. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of his death.
