Hyderabad: Traffic came to a halt on the Hyderabad–Mumbai national highway on Monday after a truck overturned at Isnapur crossroads. The lorry, loaded with onions, flipped in front of Shivarangini Theatre and blocked the main route.
The crash caused a traffic jam stretching nearly a kilometre. Ongoing road-widening and flyover works at Isnapur had already narrowed the road, forcing vehicles onto temporary diversions. With no space to turn or move ahead, vehicles were stuck all the way to Rudraram.

An ambulance got trapped in the congestion. In response, local youths and motorists pushed it over the divider to help it pass. Patancheru traffic police quickly arrived, and a crane was brought in to remove the truck and clear the route.
The jam caused long delays and hardship for commuters. Authorities advised caution for those heading toward the area.
